Took less than two hours to assemble and install but my jeep is in the middle of a rebuild and the tub is removed.

Ps plan on new straps and mounting hardware

Excellent customer service from MC once again.  I've ordered a few parts from them including front and rear trackbars and now a gas tank skid.  I've been very happy with each product but even more impressed with their customer service...it is top notch and a big reason why I'll continue to buy from them.

Excellent product January 22, 2017

Just like the other Metalcloak products on my jeep (arched fenders & rear body armor) it was well made and easy to install. Well written instructions and well made product, great finish and lightweight. It's winter in Montana right now so I haven't been able to test it on any rocks since they're all buried under the snow, but it looks strong. Definitely gained some clearance over my old bumper/skid plate combo and shed some significant weight.
Once again Metalcloak made a great looking and well designed product.

gas tank skid August 19, 2015

Built stout as hell. I had some clearance issues with the rear mount next to the body mount bolt. This would greatly benefit with a 1" body lift to give the needed clearance to move the skid closer to the back of the jeep. At least a full inch more clearance than stock.  All jeeps are slightly different so some might not experience the same problem. Still happy with my purchase  and much better looking than the a aluminum pop can.
