All parts are treated with Gold Zinc Chromate for the ultimate in defense against the elements.

These upper control arms are probably overbuilt considering they will never hit anything. But its always better to be too strong than not strong enough!  The product was beautiful and well packed.  Metalcloak was fast and made sure I got the parts in time before a big off road trip.  I'll definitely buy from metalcloak whenever possible.

Hardware is junk June 2, 2015

The control arms are high quality and an excellent piece, they showed up with new hardware,(bolts and nylock nuts)so I thought I would use it and set aside the factory bolts and nuts.  That was a mistake, MC includes no instructions with the arms so I assumed I would torque them to factory specs, I always torque in stages and at 35  ft/lbs the nylock nut stripped out on the first arm, I ended up cutting the nut off and used the factory bolts and nuts on the rest of the arms.  As an experiment I placed the remaning bolts sent by MC in a vice and put the nylock nuts on and sure enough 2 more nuts stripped out at 35 ft/lbs and the last one stripped the threads clean off the bolt at 40 ft/lbs.  It's a shame that such high quality control arms would come with such terrible hardware.  Do yourself a favor and toss the hardware in the trash and reuse the factory hardware.

Recieved these a lot quicker than expected which was awrsome, set them, bolted them up and was very impressed with the improvement in ride quality. I will buy more products from this company
