Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket and Axle Bushing Kit, JK
JK Front Duroflex Axle Bushing Kit

MetalCloak's Duroflex bushings are designed to work in parallel, but what about the axle side?

Factory Clevite bushings will work in conjunction with Duroflex bushings. Factory Clevites are a self centering rubber bushing, however, they have a very limited range of performance.

To optimize the Duroflex joints in your MetalCloak control arms and fully benefit with:
  • Increased handling of NVH (noise/vibration/harshness)
  • Articulation (34 degrees)
  • Rotation (360 degrees)
Upgrade the Clevites to Duroflex Axle-Side Bushings! With this weld on system you will upgrade your bushings along with strengthening the weak stock tower-housing with the New MetalCloak Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket and Axle Bushing Kit!

MetalCloak's Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket and Axle Bushing Kit ONLY works with MetalCloak's Duroflex Control Arms.

The Front Duroflex Weld-On Axle Bushing Kit comes complete with a press-in Duroflex bushing for the cast side and a reinforced weld-on bracket to contain the Duroflex Bushing on the other side.

Note: MetalCloak's Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket and Axle Bushing Kit ONLY works with MetalCloak's Duroflex Control Arms. MetalCloak's Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket and Axle Bushing Kit is not recommended for any other control arms.

There was questions whether the front bushing was comparable with an ARTEC joist well I am hear to say the cut matched perfectly and as far as customer service I couldn't ask for better

Joints gone bad April 27, 2017
Reviewer: Michael Larin from Cochrane, AB Canada
I had a bad joint opposite of the factory axle bushings. This was quick and easy just a few hours. Should help everything last much longer next time (3 years isn't bad anyway)

I did get hosed on duty fees at the border. Metalcloak needs a distributor here!

Front Duroflex Weld-On Bracket/Axle Bushing Kit April 7, 2017
Reviewer: Wally from San Barnardino, CA United States
I installed the Game Changer 3.5 kit a year ago on my JK. I really like the Duroflex bushings, (the reason I bought the lift kit). When I saw the new kit, I ordered it.

I re-greased all of the original bushings, to make sure the were holding up. After one year and 15K of mud, snow and desert they were doing just fine, so I figured it was safe to proceed with the new kit.

I wanted this new kit because my original lift kit only had a Duroflex bushing on the rear of the top arm and it was close to maxed out rotationally because the stock bushings in the axle hardly moved at all. It worked ok and would probably be just fine. Now the rear bushing is working half as hard, that should pay off in the long run.

A great concept, well executed. Time will reveal long term durability. I suspect, considering the long wheel travel and high articulation angles we subject these to, they will last as long or longer than the alternatives while reducing ride harshness and noise.

Homework paid off again! (Research) May 29, 2016
Reviewer: Jason Hammonds from Newark, TX United States
This kit is high quality. Diff side is easy to install. The bracket on the axle side takes more time but is exceptionally strong and well worth the effort.
Between the amount of self centering - flex, twist and forward and rearward movement this was the perfect complement to the rest of the radius long arm that binds up the factory joints to the point of distraction during maximum flex. (I still drop one upper radius arm on pass side when flexing off road)
The cost and ease of replacing the flex bushings is a fantastic design and one of my conciderations on selecting this kit.
Without a doubt will be recommended to others!

Great Product March 2, 2016
Reviewer: Josh Mullard from Caledonia, MI United States
I picked the bushing kit up to compliment my Metalcloak Upper control arms. My oem bushings were bad and these bushings made a great addition.
