This short video covers what you need to know about the basics of The JK Outboard Front Lower Shock Mount Spacer. MetalCloak JK Outboard Front Lower Shock Mount Spacer is engineered to move the lower shock away from the Jeep frame rails and rotate the shock eyelet from factory position by 90 degrees allowing it to swing with the axle vs bind on the bushing. Great product, but doesn't fit well with PR44 axle June 2, 2017
Reviewer: Jacob Olauson from Alta Loma, CA United States
Matson recommended these after I spent some time on the CTI trailer. He must not have realized that I had a ProRock axle because they don't fit it. I am going to modify them slightly and then I'm sure they will work out great!

With Fox shocks & a lift, these are a must have. May 5, 2017
Reviewer: Richard May from Indianapolis, IN United States
Due to already having C-Gussets welded on, I had to spend about 20 min with grinding wheel on each bracket, to create clearance for the welds on C-Gussets. Had to remove brake rotors, to drill out hole in spring perch. This had nothing to do with Metl Cloak. Just depending on your mods, it may require some fab work.

Shocks now fit without hitting frame at full droop.
Haven't tested off-road as of this rating. Looks sturdy.

Great product! April 28, 2017
Reviewer: John Tomaskovic from Enid, OK United States
The outboard placement is great for the Fox shocks. The fitment was very tight. Some holes needed to be drilled and/or widened.
