FOX 2.0" PERFORMANCE SERIES SHOCKS

  • CNC machined aluminum components are Type II hard anodized to a scratch and fade free finish.
  • Heavy Duty 5/8" chrome shafts are induction case hardened to over 55 Rocketwell C, virtually eliminating scratches caused by roost and debris.
  • Cold-forged, metal impacted 6061 T6 aluminum shock body dissipates heat three times faster than a conventional steel body shock. The 2.0 performance series shock runs as cool as a 2.5 diameter shock on the same application.
  • The internal floating piston design separates shock oil from the high pressure nitrogen charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration and cavitation, while providing a predictable ride - capable of handling the roughest conditions with fade-free performance.

Everything went on smooth and the customer service is awesome! I must have called them 100 times! It didn't matter who answered the phone they all knew the answers to my questions. It's awesome that they're all so knowledgable about their product. Thank you to everyone that helped me! Y'all have a customer for life!

UPDATE! As of 7/1/16 I have logged 10,000 miles on my suspension and I have had ZERO problems! The drivability is great on and off road, just as advertised.  Looking forward to adding to the suspension and body!

I order the 3.5" kit for my 2016 JKU during installation I noticed some parts where missing so I called and without any hesitation the sales consultant said he would send me the parts. It was nothing that hindered the installation of the lift or the drivability. With that said the Jeep drives like a dream and has more flex than I woulda thought. I'm very very pleased with my purchase but above all I'm even more pleased with the customer service MetalCloak offers.

Great flex, terrible on road July 29, 2016

Bought this kit 8 months ago, installed it in my garage on my own in about 10 hours. let me be fare and say that my rig is definitely lighter than 95% of JKUs out there; a lot of reviews say this kit is designed for heavy ass rigs
Whether or not that's the case in reality, I have to say that this kit rides awfully on the freeways of the east coast. Every pothole feels like I may have broken an axle off. The fox shocks offer ZERO absorption.
What prompted me to write this review was that after a 3 hour road trip today, the oscillation within the jeep actually caused the screw that holds the sound bar on from underneath to rattle itself loose and fell onto my girls head. This is on a 2015 jku
I literally shake my head after every bump I hit on the highway because of the bone shaking, body shifting lack of shock absorption/spring stiffness that I'm reminded of more than 10 times a day.

Completing the install of the Game Changer Fox Edition has changed the everyday ride, and my off-road challenges. I highly recommend this kit for someone looking for a solid riding suspension that is very tight and smooth with maximum flexing.
