The Metalcloak JK Wrangler Unlimited (4-Door) 2.5" Dual-Rate Lift Kit is a well-designed lift kit for the discerning JK owner who wants to get "just enough" lift for a better looking rig, without losing the ride quality that cheaper kits sacrifice.

Designed to use Stock Shocks (or you can choose to add any aftermarket shock).

Metalcloak's Dual-Rate coils are the focus of the kit, providing a more stable ride and better overall ride quality then typical single rate or progressive coils. Upper Front Control arms ensure proper caster angle, eliminating the potential for Death Wobble.

This is an entry-level kit -- a 2.5" lift kit, that gives you lift, unprecedented ride quality, and at an affordable price that allows you to build upon the kit if your ultimate goal is the Game Changer.

NOTE: This kit requires no more then 5.5" backspacing (or 1.5" spacers on stock wheels).

The JK Wrangler Dual-Rate 2.5" Lift Kit, is a perfect LCG (Low Center of Gravity) kit for the JK Wrangler. Considered our "budget boost" the kit is designed to give you just enough lift for looks and clearance, but you can still build your Metalcloak Suspension on top of it piece by piece.

The Dual Rate Coils give you ride stability and on road comfort. The rest of the components come together to give you a high-priced ride for a reasonable budget.

This unprecedented kit includes Upper Front Control Arms for setting proper Caster Angle.

  • Shock mounts allow reuse of stock Shocks or use of any other shocks of your choice.

Great lift painless install, given I was a cerified mechanic. I have to say I was a bit chapped that it was missing a control arm bolt, and was surprised it didn't have a upgrade bolt kits for all control arms and trac bars. I also question the lift height, it looks to be closer to 3 or 3.5 inches.
