    Rear Flare Mounting Plates, designed to mount the Quick Release Flares and cut for bigger tires.

    1/8" Cold Rolled Steel Plate creates a solid mounting point for your Quick Release Flares.

    Adds additional strength to your wheel well.

    Quick Release flares available in Rub Rail, 4" or 6".

    Mod Cut wheel opening allows for up to 35's comfortably on a stock TJ with no rubbing. (see below for details)

    Fully integrates with the MetalCloak body armor system.

    Got a pair of the MOD cut rear flare mounts for my 2005 TJ Rubicon.  They were very easy to mount, the modified wheel well gives a lot of space for flex even with the 35s I'm running and man do they look tough.  They are solid as a rock!  Not sure if I am going to get the 4" or 6" flares for these but would much rather run them bare - stupid laws!!!

    Covers up the holes from the stock fenders January 14, 2014

    I like the look of no fender flares but when I took the stock ones off my tub was full of holes from the screws. The mod cut mounting plates cover all the holes and installation was easy. I got the raw metal so I just clamped it to the body and drilled. Getting the old rivet nuts out was tough but all you have to do is use a dremel to cut the face of the rivet in half then pull them out with pliers. I tried drilling them out like the instructions say but the rivets just spin with the drill bit. I did the mod cut with an angle grinder. You just have to man up and do it. If you mess up the plate covers it anyway. I love MetalCloak I have the bumper and the 3.5 could are on the way. I'm getting the duroflex joints too. I believe they will replace the Johnny joint someday. MC is a little pricey but definitely worth it
