MetalCloak products represent the latest in manufacturing techniques combined with modern computer technology to create incredible designs that fit accurately EVERY time.
Other shops can create incredible products, but time and again you hear someone saying that the product didn't fit right or "I had to cut the hood to make the Tube Fender fit."
At MetalCloak, we believe in creating products that fit right EVERY time and never need you to modify your rig to get them on.
How do we do this? Using CMM...
“Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) transmit x, y and z coordinate information that allows complex shapes to be mapped using CAD programs. That data allows precise and quick development of parts.” – Steve Campbell, Peterson’s 4Wheel & Off Road.
Input from the CMM is turned into a virtual Jeep body. Computer Aided Drawing programs are used to construct MetalCloak parts that are fitted to the Jeep body we measured. We are able to configure our fenders, rockers and bumpers to align perfectly with the stock jeep body, your jeep body and any other jeep body that comes along.
This swift and accurate technology originally enabled MetalCloak (then Rev111) to debut TJ parts after only three months of research and development. A few minor design changes made the prototypes perfect and ready to go into mass production.
Advanced technology in the hands of professional engineers results in superior products and ultimately, more fun for you on the trail. We hope you feel confident in the quality and fit of MetalCloak products, and see this as proof of the commitment to innovation and excellence that MetalCloak has made.
Rock crawling rigs demand strength and adaptation, and will push drivers to the limit. We take this to heart and have made stength and adaptation a goal for our products.
