RockSport Steering Stabilizer Kit, JK Wrangler
JK Wrangler Rocksport Steering Stabilizer

MetalCloak recommends the RockSport Steering Stabilizer Kit for the JK Wrangler; this kit contains the MetalCloak Steering Stabilizer Axle Side Relocation Mount that places the steering stabilizer up and out of harms way from where the factory steering stabilizer was mounted originally.

This system is simple to install and uses the existing factory holes for a bolt-on application.

The RockSport steering stabilizer/damper has increased compression and extension damping performance over the original equipment.

This improved performance will assist in the overall ride and control of your Jeep.

Note: The RockSport steering stabilizer kit works with Left Hand Drive applications only. This kit includes all hardware necessary for installation.

A Jeep steering stabilizer for Jeep Wranglers with larger tires and lift suspensions. Designed for on and off-road use this product has been specifically engineered for the rigors of larger tires and Jeeps with lift suspensions; the over-sized body contains stiffer valving for the increased pressure loads. Double welded bushing eyes and natural rubber bushing add additional strength and vibration dampening while the 16mm chromed shaft prevents it from bending in harsh conditions; the shaft is protected with a rubber boot to keep it working great and looking good.

The ROCKSPORT JK Steering Stabilizer is specifically tuned for Jeep applications and will reduce bump-steer and vibration better than the OE factory part .

Designed for the rigors of a lifted Jeep that is equipped with over sized off-road tires, the ROCKSPORT STEERING STABILIZER is a fantastic upgrade for Jeeps that stay on the road or go all out when off-roading.

This will reduce the damaging vibration that shortens the life of ball joints, bushings, and other front end components.

The MetalCloak JK Steering Stabilizer, Axle Side Mount relocates the axle side of the steering stabilizer to better protect the steering stabilizer from debris by moving the stabilizer up and out of harms way from where the factory steering stabilizer is mounted. Simple to install using existing factory holes for a bolt on application.

Note: The MetalCloak Steering Stabilizer Axle Mount is for aftermarket steering stabilizers.

Another great MetalCloak product June 26, 2018

Great product that uses factory holes, so no drilling is required, simplifying the install. Puts the stabilizer in a much better location and makes you wonder why it doesn't come that way from the factory?  It's not mentioned on the product page, but you'll also need to order the Steering Stabilizer Tie Rod Mount (#7086) to complete the kit, though the factory mount would probably work. Given I'll likely replace my tie rod with a MC version in the future, I'm set when that happens.
