TJ Upper Rear Weld-On Spring Bucket Relocation
Weld on TJ Spring Bucket, Rear

The Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ Weld-On Rear Coil Buckets relocate the position of the coil buckets; this helps eliminate coil buckling with lifted height springs and allow the coils to perform as it is intended.

Our Weld on brackets are built to help Jeep builders "perfect" the placement of the rear coil springs. The original equipment perch locations are not optimal for lifted applications and tend to bow longer coils when compressing. These weld on upper buckets will correct the spring geometry on your TJ or LJ Jeep Wrangler.

Note: This kit requires cutting and welding.

Note: Builder Parts are intended for your own custom application. There is no implied warranty or instructions for the use of these products; if using any of the builder parts you should be confident of your mechanical skill level and know that you will use at your own risk.

Used in conjunction with Metalcloak 6" springs and   springs stay nice and straight.  These must be assembled so don't forget to figure that time into your build.

Fit and finish are superb, just bumped mine back about 1.5” and everything seems perfect.  Nice straight spring travel!

This bracket system makes a somewhat difficult and time consuming job about as easy as possible. Everything fit the way it should with minimal fabrication / modification needed. Highly recommended.

Easy install great product. May 13, 2018

I ordered this then thought I might just reuse the factory brackets but I’m glad I got these. Trying to get to the inside of the frame to remove the brackets is a huge pain. I got them cut off but wasn’t sure how I was going to get it cleaned up to weld to. Luckily they thought of this and the inside bracket actually sits under the frame. If I were to do it again I would just cut them off with a sawsall the grind off the outside brackets. This made this project go so much smoother.
